Applications are accepted from graduate students and postdoctoral researchers in any discipline. A background or strong interest in robotics, cognitive science, computer science, and/or mathematics is required. Proficiency in English is also required. Participants are expected to attend the entire programme.
Interested students need to candidate to the summer school by sending an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with attached one pdf with the following info:
1. A motivation for why you wish the join the summer school, stating your current research interests and how the summer school will contribute to your academic or professional development.
2. A current CV, which includes a clear description of your current educational or professional status, and a list of publications, if any.
3. Contact details of a referee who knows your work, e.g. a supervisor or senior colleague. We can contact your nominated referee for more information, please inform your referee.
4. Your preference for single or shared room.
We will be accepting applications from 23 March 2015, with the application deadline on 21 April 2015.
Accepted participants will receive a private registration link.
The registration fee includes accomodation (5 nights, from Sunday 23 to Saturday 29 August), all meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), refreshments and social events. Due to the support of IEEE-RAS Summer Schools programme, EU project DREAM and ROBOT-ERA we could reduce the participation and accommodation fees (690€ shared room – 810€ single room). Maximum 60 participants will be accepted.
